Isle of Wight opt for Upgrade with Civica Solutions

Isle of Wight Council will be updating its Universal Revenues and Benefits (URB) system supplied by Civica. The contract will ensure the Isle of Wight Revenues and Benefits department maximise its processes to improve the efficiency of the council and aid in storing, accessing and managing its caseloads.

October 12, 2006, Leeds – Civica plc, one of the UK’s most experienced providers of consulting, software and services for the public sector, is helping Allerdale Borough Council in Cumbria establish paperless business processes supporting all its main corporate services in a two year programme worth £860,000. The work, which is part-funded by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP), features Workflow, Electronic Document Management (EDM) and Records Management systems from Civica’s group company, Comino.

North Lanarkshire Council has taken steps towards electronic working after selecting Comino, a Civica group company, to implement workflow, document management and imaging in its benefits department. West Dunbartonshire advances Electronic Government with help from Comino

West Dunbartonshire Council has chosen Comino to implement Workflow and Document Management. The contract, signed in November 2005, has seen West Dunbartonshire implement Comino’s Electronic Document Management (EDM) and Workflow product in both Council Tax Revenues and Housing Benefits sections, to improve processing speeds and paper management. Human Resources will go live by the end of February 2006.
