Consultancy

Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence team provides Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), transactional and ad hoc reporting tools to the Group's customers.

Reporting through OLAP allows users to analyse the key measurements needed to manage a business. We provide ready to modify data models or cubes based on the Group's products. Data Access and retrieval tools such as Fox Pro Reporter, Computer Associates' IQ Objects/Eureka and Crystal Reports are provided for transactional and other reporting. Data dictionaries have been produced for many of the Groups products.

The Business Intelligence team sells, installs, implements and supports these products and provides training on their use.

Development Project control for Housing Associations

Comino sells Workbench, a well established product in the field of project control and progressing. It is used extensively by construction and consulting companies to manage projects. It has been extended to handle the additional requirements of Housing Association development departments and is already in use at several associations.

Workbench has facilities which are specifically applicable to controlling Housing Association development activities, such as monitoring of subcontracts and cash flow forecasting.

Comino sells Workbench as a PSA system. Accurate project costing, tracking of time spent and sophisticated invoicing are included in this powerful package.
