Comino took part in SCA/HPCAsia 2026, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading high-performance computing events, held this year in Osaka. Represented by Vladimir Kostarev, Director of Growth at Comino, the event brought together the global HPC community for several days of technical exchange, collaboration, and networking.
The conference featured a strong program of keynotes, Birds-of-a-Feather sessions, and university poster presentations, offering deep insights into current and emerging trends across HPC, AI, cloud, and advanced computing. Alongside familiar faces from the worldwide HPC ecosystem, the event also provided opportunities to discover new voices and fresh ideas shaping the future of high-performance infrastructure.
Beyond its technical depth, SCA/HPCAsia 2026 served as an important platform for building relationships and exploring new opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region. Conversations throughout the event highlighted how organisations are approaching compute challenges at scale and adapting to rapidly evolving workloads.
One clear takeaway from Osaka was the accelerating momentum behind Private Edge AI, which emerged as one of the defining topics of 2026. Discussions across sessions and informal meetings underscored how quickly this area is developing and its growing relevance for both research and industry.
